Position Overview

As the first point of contact with our Members, the Client Services Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a lasting first impression. Bringing a positive energy and consistently providing exceptional customer service to FBC Members.

Our ideal candidate brings experience in tax preparation or bookkeeping, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations—enabling them to confidently support Members with tax‑related inquiries, manage financial records, and collaborate seamlessly across teams.

You will perform your duties and responsibilities for the Company primarily from our office located in Winnipeg, MB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary customer service to FBC Members.
  • Work closely with Tax Advisors, serving as a liaison between advisors and Members to ensure communications, appointments, and inquiries are effectively managed.
  • Manage document handling and distribution, including uploading, mailing, emailing, and faxing documents as requested by members, while ensuring proper authorization for third‑party releases.
  • Assist Members by providing relevant CRA links for installment calculations, benefit information, online payments, and query clarification, as well as sharing updates from CRA as needed.
  • Respond to CRA inquiries regarding Members, escalating issues as appropriate, and request documents such as remittance vouchers, reissued letters, and statements of account.
  • Update and maintain workflows to ensure a seamless process between Member Advisors and Operations, enhancing efficiency and communication across teams. Direct questions and concerns to the appropriate channels for resolution.
  • Prepare, review and file confidential documents, reports and other correspondence materials.
What You Will Bring
Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of direct customer service experience, delivering exceptional support.
  • Business Administration diploma or certificate with a focus on bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with tax processes and bookkeeping is an asset, enabling better support of Member inquiries and document management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Great at using good judgment to build strong customer relationships.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including well‑developed telephone etiquette, to liaise effectively with Members, advisors, and third parties.
  • Document Management Proficiency.
  • Skilled at updating and maintaining workflows.
  • Capable of independently resolving issues and knowing when to elevate concerns appropriately.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications to prepare reports, correspondence, and maintain records.
  • An aptitude for learning.
