Job summary

Equitable, a Canadian mutual company, seeks a Client Relationship Specialist – Implementation to lead onboarding for Group Benefits clients. You will translate client requirements into Equitable’s systems, guide plan setup, and manage end-to-end implementation from sale to go-live and stabilization.

This remote role may require occasional in-person work in Waterloo, ON or nearby locations, with potential travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Group Benefits experience, including implementation and onboarding.
• Strong understanding of plan design, installation processes, and related timelines.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Advisors and new clients during onboarding/implementation.
• Ingest client requirements and translate into internal systems for accurate plan installation.
• Manage end-to-end implementation lifecycle from sale to go-live and stabilization.
• Develop and manage timelines, track milestones, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Group Benefits Administration, Claims, IT and other teams.
• Support and manage complex or non-standard group implementations.
