Job summary

Talbots is hiring a part-time retail associate at Store 00829 Mayfair, BC-Victoria. You will engage customers, propose wardrobe solutions, and deliver excellent service in a busy Talbots environment.

Availability at least 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays, is required. We value relationship-building and teamwork, with opportunities to progress and participate in community events while delivering fashionable, timeless looks for every body type.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Proven ability to build relationships and prospect new clientele.
• Able to work in a team and adapt to a diverse store environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships with clients.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas like Clientelling and Outreach.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Understand customer needs and offer relevant products and fashion trends.
• Participate in community/store activities and represent the Talbots brand.
• Occasionally supervise others and assist with opening/closing the store.
