Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our Personal and Business Banking team in a fast-paced Banking Centre. You will manage a portfolio of mortgage clients, deepen relationships, and provide simple, personalized solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.

On-site full-time, you will engage clients, drive business development, and leverage technology to connect clients with the right banking solutions and partners.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advisory conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada) and eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• CFSA accreditation is an asset if you have it.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and provide financial plans.
• Build and deepen client relationships through proactive outreach and referrals.
• Grow the client base via networking and community engagement.
• Promote and demonstrate mobile and digital banking solutions to clients.
