A leading insurance brokerage is looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor in Kamloops. In this role, you'll provide outstanding client service and expert advice on habitational, travel, and automobile insurance. Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience and a Level 2 General Insurance License. The position offers a base salary of $45,000 to $55,000, plus commission based on performance.

As a Personal Insurance Advisor you will help protect individuals most valuable this role you will provide outstanding client service through your positive friendly manner while educating clients in your excellent product knowledge in habitational travel and automobile insurance. You will also provide expert advice and solutions based on your clients insurance needs.
Engage with clients to understand and advise on their insurance needs to help develop the best coverage needed in all things Personal Insurance (habitational travel automobile)
Process and conduct renewals and ensure policies are processed and issued accurately in a timely manner
Maintaining a high level of knowledge in all our Personal Lines and Auto products through continuous education and learning opportunities
Establish referrals through local Realtors Notaries Mortgage Brokers and Centers of influence in your community
Seek out leads through other business lines including auto and commercial
Minimum 3 years Personal Insurance experience
Level 2 General Insurance License required
Desire and proactive ability to deliver exceptional client service
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume fast paced team environment
Keen eye for detail and high sense of urgency to serve the clients needs as your top priority
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to offer unique solutions utilizing all offerings at HUB
Demonstrated ability to drive sales initiatives
Results driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding your goals
Industry designation would be considered an asset (CIP CAIB CRM General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma)
The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure ie. base salary plus commission. As such the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidates book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $45000.00 to $55000.00 plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
