Job summary

RBC in Queens, Canada is seeking an enthusiastic service-focused associate to deliver personalised financial advice and handle client needs in a branch setting.

You will engage clients with needs-based conversations, guide them to RBC capabilities, and help them navigate digital banking while maintaining strong compliance and risk awareness.

Qualifications

  • Must have proven customer service skills, preferably in financial or service industry.
  • Drive and self-motivation with excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
  • Personal flexibility to work flex hours.
  • Eagerness to learn and succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve clients with exceptional service through transactions and needs-based conversations.
  • Identify needs and provide tailored financial advice at first contact.
  • Contribute to team sales by spotting opportunities and guiding clients to RBC capabilities.
  • Understand and resolve client concerns at first point of contact.
  • Educate and assist clients with RBC digital capabilities.
  • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines and controls.

What will you do?
  • Serve clients by delivering exceptional customer service through completing transactions, engaging in needs-based conversations, and communicating with clients throughout the branch
  • Identify needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions to clients, when possible, at the point of first contact
  • Contribute to team sales results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to the capability of RBC partners, or personally fulfil client solutions
  • Understand & resolve client concerns, where possible, at first point of contact
  • Educate & assist clients with using RBC digital capabilities
  • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions
