A regional health authority in British Columbia is looking for a dedicated administrative support professional to manage outpatient bookings and assist with various clerical tasks. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 education and two years of related experience. Proficiency in medical terminology and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Reporting to the Coordinator, Support Services or designate, utilizes a various software applications to perform a variety of booking, clerical, and receptionist duties, such as receiving and processing outpatient requisitions for procedures from physicians offices; entering patient information into the Radiology Information System (RIS); checking in patients for scheduled appointments; manipulating and managing digital Medical Imaging images; printing and communicating test results; providing assistance to technical staff with patient lifting and positioning; answering the telephone; mailing; and filing.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGrade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
