Job summary

Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for Casual Gas Bar Clerk (2 positions) at our C-Store location in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, duties include pumping fuel and propane, serving guests, operating the POS, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 20–25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• WHMIS and propane certifications are required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pump island and in-store service; dispense fuel and propane.
• Operate the POS system, stock shelves, face shelves and perform housekeeping.
• Receive, price and display merchandise; complete daily reconciliations and reports.
• Support safety policies and asset protection procedures.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.


• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.


• Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.


• Maintain a working knowledge of point of sale, fuel pump, and propane systems.


• Receive, price, and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.


• Ensure safety is held as the highest priority.


• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.


• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.


• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
