ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU BRING
Education / Experience
  • One year post secondary office administration program or equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory
  • Recent admissions / registration and appointment scheduling experience
  • Experience working in a computerized office environment
Skills / Abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in computerized registration and bookings software and keyboarding is essential
  • Must have working knowledge of medical terminology and spelling expertise
  • Accurate keyboarding skills are essential
Demonstrated ability to provide client‑centered support
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of client and clinicians on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Conditions of Employment
  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
