Independent Grocers Alliance in Canada is seeking a friendly clerk to join our store team. This role focuses on customer interaction, merchandise handling, and maintaining welcoming service at the checkout and aisles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift merchandise.
• Positive attitude and basic math for cashier tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock merchandise according to store standards.
• Place and rotate products on shelves and displays.
• Provide attentive customer service at checkout and aisles.

What would a typical day look like?
