Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm

Pay: CA$18.00 per hour

About the Role

Generations Cleaning is looking for an experienced Working Cleaning Team Lead to support our cleaning operations in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory or team lead experience, strong communication skills, and a hands‑on approach to supporting staff and maintaining a clean, safe worksite.

Daily Cleaning & Maintenance

• Perform general cleaning of warehouse areas including offices, washrooms, lunchrooms, and kitchenettes.
• Sweep warehouse aisles, including underneath racking.
• Operate a ride‑on floor machine to maintain warehouse floors.
• Empty and replace garbage and recycling bins.
• Refill consumables such as paper towel, toilet paper, and hand soap.

Leadership & Support

• Act as the on-site lead for the cleaning team, assisting staff with daily tasks and ensuring work is completed to company standards.
• Provide coaching, support, and guidance to team members when needed.
• Assist with site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate regularly with Generations Cleaning Management regarding site updates, issues, needs, and successes.
• Help ensure all cleaning procedures and protocols are followed correctly.
• Report supply needs, equipment issues, or staffing concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory or team lead cleaning role (warehouse experience an asset).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to lead by example, and willingness to work alongside the team.
• Technical: Comfort using cleaning equipment including ride‑on floor machines.
• Other: Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
