Job Description
  • Assign housekeeping duties to employees and regularly check their work to ensure it meets established standards.
  • Distributing cleaning supplies and equipment to custodial staff as needed.
  • Inventory all cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when supplies run out.
  • Assist in the selection and recruitment of new candidates.
  • Provide training and supervision for maintenance personnel.
  • Attend meetings and continuing education sessions as needed.
  • Perform all necessary labor duties in case of staff shortage.
  • Assign housekeeping duties to staff and inspect work to ensure regulatory cleanliness standards are met.
  • Schedule employee shifts and arrange replacements as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding poor housekeeping.
  • Training for housekeeping staff.
  • Regularly inventory cleaning products and order as needed.
  • Distribute cleaning supplies and equipment to maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Screening management candidates and proposing promotions, transfers and terminations.
  • Perform various cleaning duties in case of staff shortage.
  • Daily staff supervision.
  • Motivate team members and solve problems that arise at work.
  • Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
  • Monitor and replenish stock of cleaning supplies, including floor cleaners, bleach, and rubber gloves.
