Job summary

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Belleville warehouse facility. You will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver high-quality cleaning and service, coordinating shifts and ensuring safety and consistency across operations.

The role requires experience in facility services, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain client satisfaction while following our environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience in facility services or related field.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes, products, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives and timely responses to service quality issues.
• Prepare shift schedules and assignments per contract requirements for efficient service delivery.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment by ensuring employees follow safety policies and procedures.
• Provide training support for new employees.
• Order supplies, tools and equipment and manage preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Support with cleaning duties and manage radio communications.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required.

We have an immediate need for a Shift Supervisor at a warehouse facility at 640 College St E, Belleville, ON K8N 0V2. As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver exceptional results.

Shifts Available

• Monday to Thursday, Night Shift: 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Friday to Sunday, Night Shift: 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Friday to Sunday, Day Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

As a site supervisor, your duties may include…

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service oriented culture
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
• Provide support with the training of new employees
• Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Support with cleaning duties
• Manage communication with radio
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

• Minimum of two year’s experience working within the facility services industry in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machinery
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools
• Police Background Check

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
• Operate equipment when required
