Job summary

The Government of Yukon seeks a part-time Cleaning Attendant in Pelly Crossing to perform floor care, general cleaning, sanitizing, and related tasks in government facilities.

You will help identify maintenance and safety concerns, clear snow, and uphold department standards. This role requires reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a small team within the Highways and Public Works department.

Qualifications

• Experience performing light and heavy cleaning duties using janitorial equipment.
• Experience performing minor maintenance in multi-use buildings.
• Education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications may be equally considered.

As a Cleaning Attendant in Pelly Crossing, a rural town in the Yukon, your duties will include floor care, general cleaning, sanitizing, clearing snow, identifying maintenance and safety concerns, and other related tasks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining government facilities and their surroundings according to department standards.
