Job summary

BEST Service Pros in Vernon, BC is hiring a temporary janitor to ensure the building remains clean, presentable and inviting at all times.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and washrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows, disposing of garbage, and maintaining cleaning equipment. The role requires physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; a Canadian background check is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
• WHMIS Certification is an asset.
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend.
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common rooms, kitchens, washrooms

• Clean windows and keep blinds dust free
• Take out and properly dispose of garbage
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary condition
• Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements

JOB OVERVIEW:
