What’s the job?

As a Cleaner / Porter, reporting to the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, safeguarding and maintaining tools / equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. This position is at Finning Canada in Surrey BC. The working hours are 3:00 hours / day - Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and refilling dispensers in the washrooms and lunchroom
  • Collecting and transporting garbage
  • Mopping the floor in the lunchroom and security office
  • Mopping the exit area (inside the building and outside)
Qualifications
  • A great attitude!
  • At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
  • Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
