Job summary

You will perform routine cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and ensure safe operation and storage of equipment while collaborating with the facilities team to support daily operations and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and waste removal to a consistent standard.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; basic health, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, and able to follow cleaning schedules and site-specific procedures.
• Good communication; able to work independently or as part of a team in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Physically capable to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights.
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, including confidentiality, security protocols, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Role Description

This full-time Cleaner role is an on-site position based Guelph or surrounded areas . The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in commercial and industrial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing designated areas. Daily tasks include cleaning restrooms and break areas, emptying bins, replenishing supplies, and ensuring that cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly. The role also involves following health and safety procedures, reporting any maintenance or safety issues, and working in accordance with company policies and client requirements. The Cleaner will collaborate with the facilities team to support smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a safe, orderly environment for all users of the site.
