Job summary

Brandon University in Manitoba is hiring a part-time cleaner to maintain school facilities. You will sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and upholstery, wash windows, clean changing rooms and showers, and perform light housekeeping across classrooms and common areas.

The position requires a secondary school graduation certificate, 2–3 years experience, a valid driver’s license, and police checks (Criminal record and Child Abuse Registry).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and upholstery.
• Wash windows and clean walls and ceilings as needed.
• Make beds and change sheets in occupied spaces.
• Disinfect and clean restrooms, changing rooms and showers.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Launder clothing and household linens when required.
