Job summary

Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an experienced Class A Pressure Welder to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will perform production welding on standard and custom parts, reading drawings and using jigs, fixtures, and templates to fabricate metal structures.

The role requires a Class A Pressure Welding Certificate (Red Seal preferred), 3–5 years of pipe welding experience, and proficiency with TIG/MIG/flux core welding.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Pressure Welding Certificate
• Red Seal Welding Ticket preferred
• 3–5 years of pipe welding experience
• Strong knowledge of welding practices and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions
• TIG welding experience with stainless steel and carbon steel
• GMAW welding of stainless steel

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using TIG, MIG, and flux core processes according to pre-set parameters
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to set up, tack, and weld components
• Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to support continuous improvement and meet daily production targets
• Use templates, gauges, and patterns to ensure accuracy of materials and joins
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

The Role:
