Overview

Manitoulin Transport has the most extensive transportation network in North America, making it easy to provide dependable on-time delivery and faster transit times. Responsibilities
  • This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries and pick-ups within Regina and the surrounding area in a timely manner.
  • Perform pre-trips and post-trips of the vehicle.
  • Follow schedules and routes to ensure efficient delivery times.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 5 license with clean driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of pick-up & delivery experience in an urban environment
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly throughout the workday
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance record
  • Strong knowledge of Regina and surrounding areas, including optimal routes and traffic patterns
  • Proficiency in using GPS and route planning software
  • TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification
  • Forklift operation experience and certification
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and digital record-keeping
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references
