Midland Courier is currently seeking a Class 5 P&D Courier Driver based in Truro, NS Terminal. The selected candidate is a highly motivated individual with a professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.

Main Role

Effectively manage scheduling and coordinate pickups, receive and process courier deliveries and packages, and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of services to our customers. Enthusiastic, great attitude and exceptional customer service skills are a must to join the team.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday (0630-1600)

Responsibilities
  • Follow established pickup and delivery procedures.
  • Accurately process daily pickup and delivery records.
  • Safely load and unload the Courier Van to prevent package damage.
  • Maintain company equipment in accordance with operational standards.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment (e.g., hand cart) while following safety protocols and traffic laws.
  • Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and procedural guidelines.
  • Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages.
