Lekker Food Distributors is seeking a committed, energetic, and self-motivated Class 5 Delivery Driver to operate out of our Richmond location.

We are a locally owned food distribution company, specializing in providing specialty food products to retailers and restaurants across Western Canada. After more than 60 years of success, Lekker Food Distributors continues to pride itself on maintaining its family values and its philosophy to be the best at whatever we do.

We are looking for someone who will:

· Deliver products to our customers providing first-class customer service

· Operate company equipment safely and efficiently

· Communicate with customers in a professional manner

· Check freight prior to loading and unloading to ensure proper count and condition

· Perform preventative maintenance checks and pre-trip inspections on equipment

Requirements:

· 5 ton experience an asset but not required

· Driver’s abstract

· Capable of lifting 20 kg; job can be physically demanding

· Knowledge of the lower mainland area an asset

· This is a permanent position working approx. 40 hours per week

· Tuesday through Saturday day shifts/early start

· $27.50 per hour starting wage + bonus
