Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a licensed Class 3 Driver to join a nationally established company. You will ensure the safety of every delivery, maintain accurate logs, and complete required paperwork from yard to customer site.

Responsibilities include inspections, load accuracy, and customer communication. Local routes with home nightly and a solid benefits package are offered. Must have a clean abstract and Air Brake endorsement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Class 3 license with Air Brake endorsement required.
• Annual clean driving abstract.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, mature demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Report vehicle defects and incidents.
• Maintain accurate load and delivery documentation.
• Keep truck logs and service status up to date.
• Deliver products to customers with proper paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Provide feedback on delivery or vehicle issues.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork.

If you’re a licensed Class 3 Driver looking to advance your career with a nationally established company, look no further. In this role, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each job.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle and equipment operated.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Maintain Truck Logs of working hours, addresses of loads, and of vehicle service and repair status.
• Record and maintain required documentation including driver and delivery logbook.
• Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, when needed. Ensure invoice or packing accompany shipment.
• Deliver product with proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
• Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up.
• Provide feedback regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
• Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.
• Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.
• Train others when required.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Clean Drivers Abstract – Yearly
• Class 3 license with Air brake endorsement
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.

Work Conditions

Pay Rate Information

$25-30 per hour. Open to negotiation based on experience & qualifications
