Job summary

Ekkinox is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to operate highway, regional and city runs from our Pointe-Claire terminal, with coverage across Ontario and Quebec. Candidates must be flexible to cover any position, including weekends, and maintain a professional, safety-focused attitude.

The capabilities of both Ekkinox affiliates cover the full logistics lifecycle, from warehousing and transportation to freight handling, packaging, kitting, and final shipment coordination.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ekkinox is seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 drivers with a minimum of 5 years of driving Class 1 experience to drive on the highway, regional, and city positions for non-designated locations across Ontario and Quebec. This position requires you to be flexible to cover any position within our operations. Work assignments will vary in demand and complexity. The terminal is located in Pointe-Claire, Québec.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Cover Highway, Local P&D, Flatbed, and Dedicated runs based on operational needs
• Flexible to cover any position and work weekends
• Deliveries of freight and equipment to Baie Comeau and Sept Iles, Québec
• Drive all types of loads as per operational requirements
• Perform inspections before and after each trip
• Ensure safe use of equipment
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable class 1 driving experience
• Willing and prepared to be trained and qualified for all types of runs
• Clean abstract/driving record
• Functional English and French
• Professional and safe attitude with excellent customer service

OFFER AND BENEFITS

• Annual salary: $90,000 -$115,000 (depending on LCV qualifications)
• Experienced drivers with at least 5 years of experience will be paid an annual salary of $115,000 upon completing the LCV training successfully
