Westfreight Systems Inc. is a Canadian owned company with a long-standing presence in transportation since 1989, operating 100+ units and five terminals in the US and Canada. We seek an Owner Operator to run US lanes, utilizing a 53ft flat deck.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1A license.
• Minimum 2 years highway experience with 1 year flat/step deck experience.
• 53ft flat deck trailer required.
• TWIC or FAST card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53ft flat deck tractor-trailer on US lanes.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with regulations.
• Cross-border transporting capabilities and pre-employment drug screening.

The company was formed with one tractor/trailer unit and has grown to over 100 units, and 5 terminals throughout the United States and Canada. An emphasis on providing knowledgeable service through strong managerial leadership and offering an expansive field of transportation services including truckload, LTL, and over-dimensional shipments has made such growth possible.

Westfreight Systems is looking to hire an Owner Operator interested in running the US lanes. Must have either a TWIC card or Fast card. This role does involve having your own trailer, 53ft flat deck.
