CEDA is hiring Class 1 and Class 3 Operators at our Regina, SK location! If you’re looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to learn and gain experience on all pieces of equipment like vacuum truck hydro-vac high pressure water jetting and chemical cleaning units!

Key Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment, and various specialty tools
  • Proficient with driving manual transmissions
  • 90% of your day is outside of the truck boots on the ground!
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor‑intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment; our experienced crew has your back
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre‑trip inspections, job reports and safety documents
  • Challenge your eye for detail. Practice what we preach. Take your time; get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Provide guidance to Laborers as required
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
  • Driving is in your nature; then passing CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10, 13 and 18 speed)
  • Experience in an industrial environment and asset
  • SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) certification an asset
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test
Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Very comfortable with manual transmissions
  • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
