Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1/AZ License is required.
  • Clean 5-year commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events).
  • Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations.
  • Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
  • Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.

Position Summary

Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. The role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.

  • Schedule – varies. Looking for weekday/weekend/night/open availability.
  • Regional/Local deliveries.
  • 2–3 nights out (could vary).
  • Competitive pay per mile and hourly rate.

What you will do
