Armour Transportation Systems in Saint John, NB, is seeking a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for day shift regional pick-ups and deliveries, operating independently with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will drive Class 1 vehicles, load/unload freight, and use handheld devices for scanning and documentation, coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely service. Full-time days with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class 1 license and a clean driving record.

• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across multiple regional stops.
• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
• Complete documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned vehicle.

What You'll Need

• Valid Class 1 License and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Proven ability to operatemanual transmission trucksis mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience with tractor-trailers.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.
