Job summary

Armour Transportation Group in Moncton, NB and surrounding Maritimes is seeking Professional Class 1 Drivers for Grocery Highway operations. Day and Night shifts available, full-time roles based in Moncton, Miramichi, Fredericton, and Truro.

Deliver grocery freight safely and efficiently, conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/unload, and maintain accurate documentation while coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with no restrictions and a clean driver's abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an as-needed schedule.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway runs transporting grocery freight between terminals and customers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate Class 1 equipment per company policies and regulatory standards.
• Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
• Complete required documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
