Job Description

We are seeking a Class 1 City P&D driver in Moncton area for local deliveries. The primary work schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility required for different days.

  • Execute daily local deliveries efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure timely delivery of all packages to their designated destinations
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including potential weekend shifts when necessary
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of driving and cargo handling
  • Operate delivery vehicles skillfully through urban environments
  • Determine and implement the most efficient delivery routes
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize logistics operations
  • Stay informed about and adhere to the latest delivery technologies and safety protocols
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license is mandatory
  • Minimum of one year verifiable professional driving experience
  • Demonstrated track record of reliability and dependability
  • Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), and forklift operation is highly advantageous
  • Successful candidates must submit to and pass a criminal record check
  • Clean driver's abstract is required
  • Ability to provide three professional work-related references is essential
