7-Eleven in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a dedicated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver to operate company trucks and deliver products to stores along designated routes.

You will load, inspect, and safely deliver goods, maintain client relationships on your routes, and support warehouse operations. Eligible candidates have a valid Class 1/3/5 license, 2+ years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to pass a criminal record check. Salary ranges from $27–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1/3/5 license.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Valid proof of SIN upon hire.
• Familiarity with Vancouver Island is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs.
• Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles.
• Assisting with product and warehouse security.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Job description

We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver who holds a valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. If you are committed to exceptional customer service, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working efficiently, we want you on our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs.
• Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles.
• Assisting with product and warehouse security.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Available Shift(s)

Full-Time: 40 hours per week, starting at 7:00 am.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 License.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required.
• Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Valid proof of SIN upon hire.
• Familiarity with Vancouver Island is an asset, given the local delivery focus.
