Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Claims Supervisor to join our team in Toronto, ON. The position location is flexible, offering in-office, hybrid, or fully remote working arrangements.

The successful candidate will supervise adjusters, monitor quality, and assist the manager with administrative tasks, strategy implementation, and mentoring while completing files in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor adjusting practices
  • Investigate, collect, and analyze claims information
  • Manage human resources
  • Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files
  • Collaborate with managers to maintain client relations
  • Examine policies and settle claims while managing claims costs and complying with provincial licensing regulations
  • Maintain accurate billing, and time and expense records
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of functional / technical experience
  • Effective management and training skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC-based tools including MS Windows, Outlook, and Office, with the ability to learn custom applications
  • Fully Licensed Adjuster with CIP or FCIP and CRM designation preferred
