Claims Adjuster - Property / Multiline HYBRID (Surrey BC)
We are currently looking to add experienced Adjusters to our team. This position offers a HYBRID environment.
Responsibilities
- The Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience
- The ideal candidate should have experience in at least one of these areas: Auto, Property, Liability, Accident & Benefits, Bodily Injury.
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Adjusters license or currently pursuing CIP designation.
- Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
- Effective analytical skills including identification of cause and effect dynamics.
- Good investigative manner and ability to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.
- Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature and perform advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
- Advanced communication skills including written (technical) and oral (listening, interviewing, negotiating) abilities; ability to flex style to the audience.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities.
- Proactive and positive approach to customer service and timely resolution of inquiries.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing conflicts and difficult situations.
- Strong commitment to ongoing education and learning.
