The role involves technical leadership for the boiler replacement project at Pickering nuclear generating station, supervising a Civil Design Team, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering License, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Occasional travel is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of related experience.
• A Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.) is required.
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
• Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
• Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and execute detailed design engineering change packages.
• Liaise with client and partners to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Supervise and mentor the Civil Design Team in solving problems.
• Provide knowledge and oversight for engineering deliverables.
