A leading engineering services company in Montreal seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to manage technical mandates on hydroelectric projects. Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and must be fluent in French. AtkinsRéalis has a large, experienced hydroelectric team (over 100 employees), mainly composed of engineers and technicians, located in Montreal and Vancouver. The areas of activity for this team include geotechnics and geology, civil engineering and structure, hydrology and hydraulics, mechanics and electricity. The hydroelectric team operates across the Canadian market and occasionally takes on international projects, so you may be asked to work both in Canada and abroad.
You will take charge of technical mandates specific to hydroelectric turbines or alternators. AtkinsRéalis is looking for a civil/structural engineer to join a team dedicated to engineering works mainly targeting hydroelectric projects. In this role you will support clients in decision‑making and clarify their needs.
In this position you will work within the engineering team on the analysis, design and rehabilitation of structures as part of dam, hydraulic works, building and bridge projects in the field of hydroelectricity.
