Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution.
• Relevant professional experience in land development or municipal infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer designation in Ontario, or active progress toward registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.
• Demonstrated experience with grading, municipal servicing and stormwater-management design.
• Familiarity with Ontario municipal and agency approval processes.
• Ability to coordinate several assignments while maintaining clear records and communication.
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of grading, site-servicing and stormwater-management designs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary drawing packages and technical submissions.
• Prepare or review calculations, reports, specifications and engineering correspondence.
• Guide designers and technologists and review work for technical quality and completeness.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, conservation authorities, utilities, architects and other consultants.
• Respond to review comments and help move applications efficiently through approval.
• Support tendering, construction administration and resolution of field issues.
• Monitor assigned scope, schedules and project deliverables.
