Job summary

Blackline Civil in the Edmonton area is seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our growing team. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to impact bids and project outcomes across Western Canada with a focus on earthworks, underground utilities, and land development.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze subcontractor quotes, and contribute to value engineering while collaborating with project managers and operations to win successful bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil estimating experience (senior-level candidates preferred).
• Experience in underground utilities, earthworks, and land development.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and sequencing.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
