Job summary

Blackline Civil in the Edmonton area is seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our growing team. This role will directly influence bid outcomes and project success on Western Canada projects.

You will prepare estimates, review drawings and tender documents, price labor/equipment/materials, analyze subcontractor quotes, and work with project managers to identify risks and value-engineering opportunities. Must have senior-level civil estimating experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil estimating experience, senior-level preferred.
• Experience in underground utilities, earthworks, and land development.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Develop accurate pricing for labour, equipment, and materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
