Urban Systems Cranbrook office is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to provide drafting and design support from preliminary through detailed design, with occasional on-site inspections. Our growing Cranbrook office is looking to add an enthusiastic, highly capable Civil Engineering Technologist to our team of professionals. Life in a growing professional practice is never boring. We work on innovative projects that create meaningful and lasting change in the communities where we live, work, and play. You will get to grow alongside our interconnected branches and teams of professionals and provide general drafting and design support from preliminary through to detailed design, as well as periodic on-site inspection of various municipal infrastructure projects throughout British Columbia.
Our ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a Civil Engineering Technology diploma program or equivalent with up to 5 years of experience, who is registered or eligible for certification with ASTTBC or an equivalent Provincial association.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow in their field, is curious about civil infrastructure design, and has a passion for building communities. Given the variety of project needs and a desire to find the right person to join our team, we will consider candidates with a range of experience, education, and backgrounds in municipal infrastructure, land development, and transportation design and implementation.
