Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering EIT/Graduate to contribute to a variety of infrastructure projects in Windsor, Ontario. You will work on design, data collection, field reviews, and collaboration with project engineers and technicians to advance linear infrastructure initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong communication and organizational skills, familiarity with water and stormwater systems, and proficiency with CAD and modeling tools. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including co-op or internship.

Responsabilités

• Act as a Civil Engineering EIT/Graduate for multiple projects, including a range of small and large, straightforward and complex projects.
• Provide technical assistance and input on linear infrastructure projects, including rehabilitation projects, stormwater management and Low Impact Develop (LID) design.
• Participate in preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure.
• Perform data analysis, data entry and collect meeting summaries to support projects and tasks. Work collaboratively with Project Engineers, Technologists and Project Managers to assist in planning, preparing master plans, and environmental assessments, design, CAD drafting, and preparation of construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates in connection with a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Perform field reviews for data collection, drawing and/or design development, site status updates, construction site inspections and/or meetings, and record drawings.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Familiar with water distribution, stormwater and wastewater collection.

• Understanding of relevant discipline software programs, which may include AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, PCSWMM, StormCAD, Water CAD, (or other modeling software) is seen as an asset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheets.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.

Education and Experience

• Civil Engineering degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including co-op or internship.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining seated for long periods of time. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Pay Range:

Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario-$64,600.00 - $90,400.00 Annually

Pay Transparency:

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
