Placements24 is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape, focusing on planning, design and development of roads and related infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience in road and highway design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering and pavement design.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan road networks including alignment and pavement design.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and tender documents using CAD.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for road projects.
• Coordinate with clients, government agencies and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with structural and environmental engineers.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation for road construction.
• Ensure designs comply with national standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support during construction through site visits and inspections.

Requirements
