Job summary

Employee Benefit Consultants, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Carpenter to support the Highway 11 Interchange Project in Abbotsford. The role involves constructing and maintaining temporary and permanent structures for excavation, utility work, concrete tasks, and roadworks.

The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor setting while upholding high safety and workmanship standards. Red Seal preferred and a valid driver’s license are important assets.

Qualifications

• Experience as Carpenter in civil construction or roadwork environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site drawings.
• Proficiency with common carpentry tools and equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality on construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and dismantle formwork, shoring, and falsework systems.
• Build and maintain temporary structures, barricades, platforms, and site facilities.
• Read blueprints and follow specifications and site instructions.
• Assist with concrete placements, finishes, and structural installations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project schedules.
