Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead the firm’s enterprise technology strategy, security, and operations, partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to enable growth and a superior people experience.

The CIO will drive architecture, cloud, data, and AI-enabled capabilities, oversee budgets and vendors, and foster a modern, secure, and resilient digital workplace across the firm.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise technology functions in large, complex organizations.
• Proven track record developing and executing enterprise technology strategies and modernization initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technology programs and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise technology strategy aligned with firm priorities and business objectives.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to translate priorities into practical technology initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Lead modernization across cloud, data platforms, security, and end-user technology services.
• Oversee technology budget, vendor relationships, and governance to maximize business value and cost effectiveness.
