Job summary

Rodeo FX in Toronto is seeking a Generative AI Artist to create images and sequences across advertising production. This hybrid role collaborates with the compositing, 3D, real-time, and art direction teams.

AI serves as a creative tool to extend artistic intent, not replace it. You will build workflows in ComfyUI, train LoRAs, test models, deliver visuals, and maintain production-ready outputs while ensuring consistency across shots and respecting licensing terms.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong taste and visual judgment across composition, lighting, style and storytelling.
• Artistic background in illustration, photography, concept art, compositing, motion design, cinematography or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain workflows in ComfyUI using multiple models for each shot.
• Train LoRAs on image and video models and prepare required datasets.
• Test new models and select tools based on quality, control, turnaround time, and cost.
• Deliver professional-quality visuals quickly and in line with studio standards.
• Generate visual directions, lookframes, key visuals, animatics, and final shots for advertising projects and IP development.
• Ensure consistency of characters, products, and visual worlds across shots.
