Treatment plans are personalized to each patient’s unique needs, with a strong emphasis on helping patients understand their spine, make informed choices, and work toward improved function, mobility, and long-term spinal health.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chiropractor role based at Burlington Spinal Decompression in Burlington, ON. The Chiropractor will provide evidence-informed chiropractic care, perform spinal and musculoskeletal assessments, and deliver non-surgical spinal decompression treatments aligned with clinic protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting new patient consultations, reviewing diagnostic imaging, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing chiropractic adjustments and related therapeutic procedures. The role also includes documenting clinical findings, educating patients about spinal health and preventive care, collaborating with support staff to coordinate appointments and follow-up care, and contributing to a welcoming, professional clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in spine care, including assessment and management of spinal conditions such as herniated discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis.


• Strong foundation in medicine as it relates to conservative musculoskeletal care, including understanding of relevant anatomy, pathology, and contraindications.


• Proficiency in chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies, with a focus on safe, patient-centered techniques.


• Comprehensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and its impact on posture, mobility, and functional movement.


• Advanced skills in chiropractic practice, including evaluation, treatment planning, and integration of spinal decompression technologies.


• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution and current license, or eligibility for licensure, to practice chiropractic in Ontario.


• Experience interpreting X-rays and other diagnostic imaging for spine and musculoskeletal conditions.


• Strong communication and patient education skills, with the ability to explain treatment options and self-care strategies in clear, accessible language.
