Job summary

J & U Health & Wellness Inc. in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Chiropractor to join our collaborative outpatient clinic at the Marine Landing location. This independent contractor role offers 2–3 days per week with 6–10 hour shifts.

You will provide hands-on manipulation, develop individualized treatment plans, and work closely with other rehabilitation professionals. Applicants must be registered with BC College and carry professional liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Registration (member in good standing) with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Specialized certifications as necessary.
• Experience in outpatient setting is a strong asset; new graduates welcome.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively.
• Commitment to post-graduate professional development.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on manipulation to muscles, tissues, tendons and joints to decrease pain and improve mobility.
• Use of exercise as rehabilitation as required.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis.
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals in the clinic.
• Document treatment sessions and recommendations using e-charting software.
• Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Promote in-clinic programs and services through networking.

J & U Health & Wellness for a Chiropractor to join our collaborative team at our Marine Landing location.

J and U Health and Wellness is a rehabilitation clinic located in Vancouver, British Columbia providing rehabilitation services to its population. The primary purpose is to provide active and passive treatment options to clientele to further enrich our clients lives by aiding in rehabilitation of injuries and chronic illness.

Status: Independent Contractor: 2-3 days a week 6-10 hour shifts.

Your Day-to-Day

• Providing hands-on manipulation to the body’s tissues including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints, to help decrease pain and improve mobility.
• Use of exercise as a method of rehabilitation as required
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
• Working collaboratively with other rehabilitation professionals at the clinic
• Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations
• Managing caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Networking to promoteother in clinic programs and services.
