Job summary

A community service organization in Armstrong, ON is seeking a Children’s Wellness Worker to protect children in care and ensure their service needs are met in accordance with the Child and Family Services Act. The role requires a two-year diploma in Human Services or a three-year BSW preferred, along with relevant experience. Competitive salary ranging from $32.66 to $41.37 hourly, with generous benefits included. This position is permanent full-time and requires flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• A minimum two years’ experience working with children, youth, individuals, and families.
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Search including Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle with liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Protect children in care in accordance with Child and Family Services Act.
• Ensure all service needs of children in care are met.
• Work flexible hours and travel regularly.

Skills

Experience with Anishinabek children

Child Welfare experience

Flexibility to work on-call

Valid Class G Driver’s License

Education

Two-year Human Services Diploma
