Overview

You’ll lead, develop, and partner with parents, volunteers, and staff to create spaces where kids are loved, secured, encouraged, and excited to discover life with Jesus.

Specifics

The Children’s Ministry Director will work in partnership with the Lead Pastor and Elders to develop a vision and specific goals for Children’s Ministry. Oversee nursery, pre-school, JK/SK, and student ministries up to grade 6, providing opportunities for ministry on Sunday, throughout the week, Summer Camp, and outreach events. Develop teams of volunteers and parents to participate in and lead ministry with an emphasis on community, relationships, and spiritual growth. Equip and encourage parents to nurture their children in the Lord at home. Oversee and organize supplies, curriculum, materials, and the physical spaces of Children’s Ministry. Be involved and engaged in the church’s ministry as a whole.

Start Date is negotiable — no earlier than Jan 1, and no later than Jan 1.

40 hrs / week, with the expectation of flexibility from week to week.

Salary: $68, or higher, depending on experience, education, and merit.
