Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to colleagues, managers, and partner agencies; manage a diverse caseload of childcare matters; contribute to high-profile cases; ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
• Deliver legal and procedural advice on childcare law to Members, Officers, and partner agencies; manage routine and complex legal cases; ensure timely and accurate delivery of advice and services; draft legal documents; prepare court submissions; conduct legal research.
• Advise on relevant legislation, case law, and procedural changes; support the Principal Solicitor and Director of Law on significant, politically sensitive cases.
