Job summary

Magic Mountain Child Development Centre in Airdrie is seeking an energetic Child Care Educator for our Out Of School (OSC) program. The role requires understanding of child development, strong engagement, and ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.

Ideal candidates are dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and able to communicate effectively with parents. Alberta Child Care certification levels 1–3, current criminal record check and first aid are required.

Qualifications

• Prior childcare/daycare experience is a must.
• Alberta Child Care Certification Levels 1, 2 or 3 is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with computer applications and administrative systems.
• Knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations is preferred.
• Current Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certification (or willingness).

About the Role

We are looking for a childcare Educator for our Out Of School (OSC) program at our Airdrie Crossing Magic Mountain location in Airdrie . We are seeking someone who possess a strong understanding of child development, exceptional engagement skills, and a dedication to fostering positive relationships with both children and colleagues. The ideal candidates will be dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and exhibit outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Prior experience is advantageous, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 1, 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification.
